Father Samuel Issa

Amid the rhythms of his life as a Syrian Orthodox priest monk, Father Samuel Issa finds resonance in the words of the psalmist: "Be still, and know that I am God." This perception finds its visual expression through photography.

For him each image is a quiet conversation, an invitation to discover the divine in the ordinary. Through his lens, he unveils the art of capturing light as a form of a silent prayer.
